Chicago, IL – Maxxsonics USA announced a relationship with Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. to develop audio products to be included in their Kawasaki Genuine Accessory catalog for select side x side models.
Products will be offered exclusively through Kawasaki dealers and the Kawasaki website. This partnership will see Maxxsonics developing specific Hifonics branded audio products and systems for several Kawasaki side x side vehicles. Heise LED Lighting® by Metra Electronics®, the leading manufacturer of aftermarket 12 volt installation solutions, will introduce a wide range of new automotive LED lighting solutions at the 2018 SEMA Show. Heise is unveiling a new Infinite Series, featuring RGB backlit lightbars and cube lights, to complement their existing RGB light kits. To fit more bumpers and hidden applications, three new 20-inch lightbar sizes will be added to Heise’s Dual Row, Blackout and Marine lightbar product lines. Adding to their existing line of high-output cube style lights, new 140-degree cubes will be introduced, featuring a hybrid beam pattern for better light coverage and more LEDs for an even brighter output. For retrofitting older Jeeps, trucks and classic cars, Heise is debuting 4x6” and 5x7” LED replacement headlights with a partial halo in black or silver. What exactly is a Drive-by-wire throttle system (also known as fly-by-wire) and why does it create lag?
Well first we have to take you back, to the good old days of throttle cables and carburettors. In the old days, the gas pedal was directly connected to the engine's throttle plate by a cable, and any lack of response from the engine could be attributed to a couple of things. Either the cable has stretched enough to create slack and, consequently, a delay in pedal response, or the engine was out of tune which meant it was not making as much power as it should've been. Easy fix, by a new throttle cable for $20 and get your carby tuned. Nowadays though, unfortunately it's not that simple.

The G7016 clearly filled a void on the upper end that the market was demanding. Average tire widths continue to grow, as do vehicle weights with truck sales quite strong in 2018. Heavier electric vehicles that are completely disabled when the batteries are disconnected during vehicle service has also played a role.
